Fruits and vegetables are part of a well-balanced and healthy diet. There are many different ways to lose or maintain a healthy weight. Using more fruits and vegetables along with whole grains and lean meats, nuts, and beans is a safe and healthy one. Helping to control your weight is not the only benefit of eating more fruits and vegetables. Diets rich in fruits and vegetables may reduce the risk of some types of cancer and other chronic diseases. Fruits and vegetables also provide essential vitamins and minerals, fiber and other substances that are important for good health. Juicing gives you the highest concentration of nutrients from fruits and vegetables in a form that is easiest for your body to take in and use. However, when juicing comes from a juicer or a press, the resulting liquid does not have any of the fiber that was in the original plant (fruit, vegetable or herb).  It does though, have all of the other nutrients.  This includes the macronutrients inherent in the produce, as well as all vitamins, minerals and phytochemicals.  It is very easy for your body to absorb all of these nutrients right away, but juicing often provides, even more, nutrients because the extracting process of juicing releases nutrients that are trapped in the fiber.
